Best Marks: Your Personal Records in One Place
Your 5K PB shouldn’t live in your head, and your best 20-minute power shouldn’t require scrolling through months of workouts. Best Marks is TrainerPlan’s personal-records page: your fastest times and biggest efforts in one place, each with its own progression chart.
Where to find it
On the web, open My Profile → Best marks. Coaches see the same page inside each athlete’s profile — perfect before setting race targets.
What gets tracked
- Runners: your best times over the classic distances (1K, 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon), entered by you or your coach.
- Cyclists: your best times from 5K to 100K, plus max distance, max time and max climb. Your best power over key durations is tracked separately and automatically in Peaks (Athlete Premium).
- Records over time: each mark has a chart of its results that shows how it has progressed — the most motivating graph in the app.
When a synced workout sets a new peak (your best power, heart rate or pace over 5 seconds to 60 minutes), TrainerPlan flags it on the web calendar with a medal — so PB days are visible at a glance, for you and your coach.
Add or correct a mark manually
Set a PB before you used TrainerPlan, or raced with no watch? Add a result to any mark — date, value, done — and edit or delete results whenever you need to. Marks aren’t filled in from your workouts, so the page holds exactly what you and your coach enter.
Why it matters for training
- Realistic race goals start from honest current marks, not memories.
- Coaches can anchor zone and pace targets to what an athlete has actually done recently.
- Progress you can see beats progress you have to believe in — especially through a long base block.
Best Marks doesn’t depend on a device, because you enter the results. Automatic peaks come from workouts synced from Garmin, Strava, COROS, Suunto, Polar, Wahoo or Apple Watch; manually imported FIT files aren’t included.
