Create the race and its participants
The season starts with the races.
- In Events, click Add event.
- Enter the title and the date, and choose the priority, from A to C. This is what the plan will use later to organise the season.
- Choose the sport and the distance.
- Add the athletes who are going to race it, searching for them by name.
- Save. The race appears in their calendar.
Annual Planning and the season generator
With the races in place, open the athlete and go to the annual plan, ATP. This is where their seasons are.
- Click New Annual Plan.
- Fill in what the generator asks for:
- The name of the plan.
- The start and end dates.
- Whether you measure in duration, distance or Effort.
- The weekly average.
- How often you want a recovery week.
- Below, add the season's races, each with its priority. A races get a full peak and taper, and B races just a short taper.
- Generate the plan.
The season at a glance
In seconds you have the whole season:
- Each week's volume.
- The races marked with their priority.
- Below, the mesocycles: base, build, peak, race and transition, with their recovery weeks, for example one every four.
- At the top, the total for the year.
Week by week, editable
The same season is also shown as a table: each week with its event, its period and the planned volume. Everything is editable. You can change a week's mesocycle or adjust its volume by hand.
Planned versus completed
As your athlete trains, the completed column fills in on its own, and the chart's bars fill with what they have actually done, on top of what you had planned.
Save and see it in the calendar
When you are happy with the plan, click Save plan. From that moment, each week's target appears in the calendar, next to what your athlete is completing.
