Static and dynamic plans
In Plans you have two tabs, one for each type of plan:
- Static plan: a template, with weeks and days and no dates.
- Dynamic plan: it lives on real calendar dates and is shared live with the athletes who follow it.
Inside a static plan
A static plan is organised as Week 1, Day 1, Day 2 and so on, with no dates at all. Each week is copied, renamed or deleted as a whole. It is the template you reuse season after season, with each athlete starting on the day that suits them.
Inside a dynamic plan
A dynamic plan is the same calendar you already know, with the sessions on real dates. The difference is that it is not an athlete's calendar, it is the plan's. What you change in it reaches everyone who follows it at the same time.
Add sessions to the plan
You build the plan just like an athlete's calendar:
- Click the + on the day.
- Give the session a title and choose the sport and the duration.
- Add the steps you want.
- Save. The session sits inside the plan, ready for everyone who follows it.
Copy days and weeks
- Click the header of a day to select it. Use Shift plus click to select a whole range.
- Open the day's menu and click Copy.
- Go to the week you want and click Paste. The days are copied in the same order.
The menu also opens with a right click, right where your mouse is.
Assign the plan to athletes
- When the plan is ready, click Assign.
- Tick the athletes who are going to follow it.
- If you want, tick the box so that the plan is only added from today onwards, without touching the days that have already passed.
- Click Assign plan. The sessions appear in each athlete's calendar.
Inside the plan, the Athletes tab tells you who is following it. From there you can remove someone when their block ends.
Assign to a group
In the Groups tab you assign the same plan to a whole team in one go. With one click, the whole group has its season planned.
The group calendar
In Groups you also have the group calendar, which shows one week per athlete, one below the other. At a glance you see who is keeping up and who is not, and you can copy a session from one athlete to another without leaving that screen.
What the athlete sees
How many weeks ahead the athlete sees is up to you, in each athlete's settings. That way you can have the whole plan built while they only see the next few weeks.
