Masterclass #9 · The session library in TrainerPlan
Save your sessions as templates, organise them in folders, bring them to your athletes' calendars and attach videos and documents.
The library is where you save your sessions as templates so you never write the same workout twice. Here you will see how to create a template, organise the library into folders, move and duplicate sessions, take them to your athletes' calendar, save to the library a session created in the calendar, and attach to a session the videos and documents you have in Files.
The video is narrated in Spanish. Turn on the English subtitles from the player's settings.

The session library
The library is in the menu, under Library. All your sessions are there, each with its sport, its measure and its Effort. You can search by name or filter by activity. Each template keeps everything: the steps, the zones and the description.
Create a template
- In Library, click Add workout. It opens the same editor you use in the calendar.
- Give it a title, a duration and a description.
- Save. The session is now in your library.
Folders, moving and duplicating
When the list grows, organise it into folders:
- Tick the sessions you want to move.
- Click Move.
- Choose the folder.
Duplicate gives you a copy of a session, to make a variation without touching the original.
From the library to the calendar
- Open your athlete's calendar.
- Open the library in the side panel.
- Drag the session to the day you want.
The session is copied to the calendar, so you can adjust it for that athlete without changing the template.
Save a session as a template
It works the other way round too. When you create a session in the calendar, tick Save as template and it is saved as a template at the same time.
Files: videos and documents
In Files you keep your videos, images and documents, also in folders. From any session, with Add from library, you attach an exercise video or a document.
