Weather forecast in your calendar

See the weather forecast for your town on each day of your calendar, right next to your workouts. It helps you move a long ride away from a stormy day or plan an early run before the heat. The weather forecast is included in Premium and is available in the web app.

Set your location

1. Click My Profile and choose Weather in the menu on the left.
2. Under Athlete's location, start typing your town in the Search location box.
3. Pick your town from the list that appears and click Save.
4. Turn on Display weather on the calendar. The change saves straight away.

If your town doesn't appear, you'll see "We couldn't find this city name, please try again". Try a nearby larger town or check the spelling.

Show the forecast on your calendar

1. Click Calendar in the top menu.
2. Open the Options menu (the three dots at the top of the calendar) and click Weather.
3. The forecast appears at the top of each day. Click Weather again to hide it.

Your browser remembers whether the forecast is shown or hidden, so you only need to switch it on once on each computer or browser you use. If you haven't set a location yet, clicking Weather takes you to the Weather settings page.

What the forecast shows

Each day shows the highest and lowest temperature and a short description, such as "Light rain". Click it to see more:

• Forecast: the weather description.
• Max/Min: the highest and lowest temperature of the day.
• Feels like: how warm or cold it will feel.
• Wind Speed and Wind Gusts.
• Humidity.

The forecast covers today and the next four days. Temperatures and wind speeds use your units (metric or imperial), and the descriptions use the language of your account.

If you have Basic

On Basic, the Weather page shows "To use the weather forecast feature you need an Athlete Premium subscription" and the location fields are disabled. Click Upgrade Plan on that message, or go to My Profile > Plans. Your coach can also pay for your Premium.

If you have a coach

Your coach sees the same forecast on your calendar in their account, as long as you have Premium and Display weather on the calendar is on. They show or hide it with Weather in the menu of your calendar, just like you. Your coach can also set or change your location for you.

Good to know

• The forecast is for the location you saved, not where you are right now. Update it when you travel to a training camp or a race.
• Days further than four days ahead and past days don't show a forecast.
• The weather forecast isn't available in the mobile app.
• If your Premium ends, the forecast disappears from your calendar. Your saved location stays, so it comes back when you upgrade again.
